As the doctor said, Mother Wei finally woke up at midnight.

Wei Xi looked down at Ling Zhen’s sleeping face, and then stood up and walked towards the door silently.

As soon as he opened the door, Ling Zhen’s nasal voice sounded from behind, “Wei Xi, don’t panic, don’t feel irritated. You are not alone and I will accompany you.”

Don’t do anything that could blacken the big boss, Ling Zhen said in her heart. 

She would accompany him through this part of the plot so that Wei Xi didn’t have the same faith as he get into the book for no reason.

The man leaned on the door, his black hair pressed on his eyebrows, and his expression turned gloomy. After a while, he opened the door and walked out, closing the door with a click.

There was silence in the ward, with only the slight sound of the active medical equipment.

“Then…” Wei Xi leaned against the door, with unexplainable emotions surging in his deep dark eyes, and he slowly whispered: “…always just stay with me.”
